With over 25 years of kaiju experience and henshin enthusiasm, Ryan is less of a tokusatsu fan and more of an advocate for the genre. He has an academic background in both history and anthropology which he puts to good use placing a wide array movies and series in their proper social and historical contexts. Also, he just plain loves seeing giant monsters battle one another.
